Summary
What would happen to society if an IVF technique that enabled two women to have a child became available? At the heart of the media storm is the story of two women, Jules and Rosie, who take part in the first human trial of ovum-to-ovum fertilisation. When it is leaked to the media that Rosie is one of only two women to fall pregnant, their relationship is put under the microscope as they become the subject of a shrill national debate. The pressure on the couple intensifies as Jules desperately searches for the source of the leak among those closest to them.
