Summary
  • This sketchbook of Sydney is a cartographic work on the idea of living elsewhere. Caroline Bouquet is a French artist and the descendant of a master French cartographer. The book creates an immersion into different worlds, real and imaginary, with their own maps and emotions. It calls on the nomad in you to share a limitless architecture - more a form of anchor than a travelogue. The French artist Caroline Bouquet has lived in many places around the world and currently lives in Sydney. With a Master's in Fine Arts (Versailles) and a Doctorate in Sociology (Sorbonne), Bouquet has exhibited internationally over the past twenty years, with her work held in both public and private collections. She authored and illustrated Australia Elements, Mapping Sydney and Hong Kong Five Senses
