Summary
Detective William Murdoch may finally be pushed to his limits. As radical new forensic techniques such as fingerprinting, ultraviolet light and trace evidence become the norm during the 19th century's 'age of invention', Murdoch and his skilled team, including his wife Dr. Julia Ogden, face the most difficult and dangerous cases of their lives: There is the mysterious death of a debutante at Toronto's most glittering ball, a destructive fire rages throughout the city putting Ogden in grave danger, a convicted murderer is convinced he's possessed by the devil, a philandering businessman is poisoned, a footballer traning for the Olympics meets a strange death, and the rise of a lecherous costumed killer known as 'The Lurker' grips the city. These are just some of the notorious cases that Murdoch will have to tackle throughout the powerhouse tenth series, which also includes the Christmas special
