Summary
The Family Law is a provocative, authentic and humorous look into the real and riotous world of a Chinese-Australian family. Inspired by the book of the same title, which was a collection of personal essays by writer Benjamin Law, the series introduces audiences to the real Law family -- mum Jenny, father Danny, Ben and his four siblings. Our guide is 14-year old clarinet playing Benjamin Law -- slightly self-obsessed with aspirations to be famous despite a mouth jammed full of orthodontic work. The comic centre of the family is Benjamin's mother Jenny -- earthy, forthright, colourful, prone to malapropisms and oversharing information, much to her children's embarrassment
