- Summary
- Stay-at-home mum Debbie is feeling a bit lost. Her twins have just started school and, once she's done her domestic duties and had her dose of daytime TV, there's little else to occupy her. That is until she discovers a strange little elf poking around in her pantry. Unlike regular food cupboards, Debbie's is actually a portal to Yonderland, a fantastical realm filled with kings, monks, a dark lord, knights and strange creatures - most of whom are rather dumb. Which is why elf has shown up. His world needs Debbie to save it: she is "The Chosen One" who must rescue Yonderland from certain disaster. Debbie wonders if she's had too many cheese toasties and is going bonkers... but if she can handle twins and a tone-deaf husband, she's probably up for saving Yonderland. It's Monty Python meets The Muppets as Debbie, the chosen mum, fights evil, upholds goodness, rescues an entire kingdom and still manages to make it home for the school run
