Summary
Walmajarri is an aboriginal language of Western Australia. This volume presents 32 stories from the Walmajarri oral tradition, which were collected at different times over the past few decades. They are chosen to illustrate to lives of the people as they (voluntarily and involuntarily) transitioned from hunting and gathering to a more settled lifestyle. The stories are presented in Walmajarri and English. Also included are a number of color reproductions of Walmajarri visual art
