Every summer, a once-sort-of-famous cartoonist, Rich Fischer, leaves his wife and two kids behind to teach a class at a weeklong arts conference in a New England beachside town. It's a place where drum circles happen on the beach at midnight, clothing optional. Once more, Rich finds himself worrying about his family's nights without him, his future as an illustrator, his back taxes, the shameless shenanigans of his colleagues at this summer make-out festival and his own real desire for love and human contact. One of this year's attendees is a 41-year old painting student, Amy O'Donnell. They met at the conference a year ago, shared a moment of passion and spent the winter exchanging inappropriate texts and emails. Now, they're back
