Summary

Eleven-year-old Clancy has lived in the city his whole life, until three months ago when everything changed. His Uncle Buck got struck by lightning on his outback sheep station and it turned out Clancy's dad has inherited the property. When the shearers come back to finish the job after a spell of rain, they bring a new cook. Everything is going well, until the cook serves an extra hot curry one night. You can imagine, or may you'd better not, what happens to the shearers' toilet a few hours later. Clancy tries his best to help but it sort of misfires
