Summary

Polly is a recovering alcoholic and single mum to her son Louis. He is getting to an age where he's curious about his dad. Where does he live? What does he do? Why doesn't he want to see his son? But life is about to change when Polly meets Ben in AA. After the tragic death of his sister, he is now looking after his young niece, Emily. Polly and Ben feel an instant connection and it's not long before Polly is teaching Ben how to plait hair and Ben is kicking a football about with Louis. It seems perfect. Then, Polly's past catches up with her and she has to decide if she is ready to face it
